Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Styla (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Styla is a wardrobe and styling application. You photograph the clothes you own; the App removes the background from each photo, suggests details for each piece, and puts outfits together from your own clothes for the weather and the occasion. The App also lets you build outfits by hand, save and plan them, record what you wear, and get feedback on a photo of what you are wearing ("Outfit Check").

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Your Content

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you add to the App. You give us permission to store and process that content, including through the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy, for the purpose of providing the App to you.

• Only upload photos you have the right to use.
• Outfit Check photos should be of you, or of someone who has agreed to the photo being submitted.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, or that infringes the rights of others.

We may remove content that breaks these rules.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Styla offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The free tier limits the number of pieces in your closet, the number of AI stylings per day and the number of Outfit Checks; the current limits are shown in the App. Pro removes those limits and adds data export. Building outfits by hand is available on both.

• Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Apple's App Store or, on Android, Google Play.
• Payment will be charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your account settings on the store after purchase.
• No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law.

If your subscription ends, everything already in your closet stays, and the free-tier limits apply to new additions and stylings.

6. Free Trial

If offered, a free trial period allows you to use Pro features at no charge. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged at the applicable rate.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

Clothing details, outfit suggestions and Outfit Check feedback are generated automatically, in part by third-party AI services. They can be wrong: a piece may be mislabelled, and a suggested outfit may not suit the weather, the occasion or your taste. Weather-based suggestions depend on a third-party forecast. Treat these features as suggestions and opinions, not professional advice, and use your own judgement about what to wear. You can correct any detail the App attaches to your clothing.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Get around the limits of the free tier

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Viking Tech and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the photos and wardrobe data you create within the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viking Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may clear your data or delete your account at any time through the App settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
